Adult Volunteer Community
Putting on a mainstage production takes a village! The Lily Youth Ballet Project relies on the energy, talents, and dedication of our community to make "Lost in a Good Book" an unforgettable experience for our dancers.
Whether you can lend a hand backstage, help dancers sparkle, or support our fundraising goals, your involvement directly enriches our dancers' experience.
Key Volunteer Areas
Backstage Chaperones: Keep our young dancers safe, focused, and organized during rehearsals and theater performances. Chaperones assist with quick changes, manage quiet activities backstage, and ensure dancers line up on time for their stage entrances.
Hair & Hair/Makeup Team: Help our cast look stage-ready! Assist with classical ballet buns, stage makeup application, and touch-ups before curtain call and between scenes. No professional experience is necessary—we provide clear guidelines and training.
Technical Crew: We are seeking enthusiastic parent and community volunteers to join our production and technical crew. If you enjoy hands-on projects, organizational logistics, or theater tech, your skills are vital to creating a seamless stage experience for our dancers.
Fundraising & Community Outreach: Support the project's financial sustainability and accessibility. Volunteers assist with running performance bake sales, organizing raffle baskets, distributing promotional posters across the Upper Valley, and coordinating local business sponsorships.
Get Involved: A volunteer signup sheet will be distributed at the parent orientation following auditions. Thank you for partnering with us to build a supportive, inspiring environment for our dancers!
